About Us
My name is Ramesh P. Raheja, in this May 2025 I will turn 65. Please consider me as your friend and with this blog www.strongwealth.in I want to add value to your life. It has been a long painstaking journey for me ever since I started earning for my family in 1978. Those were very tough days for my family, full of financial challenges. My father’s business was touching new lows year by year since around 1974 onward. Financial challenges were increasing so was increasing stress, financial insecurity & anxiety. Looking at my father struggling and sensing the discomfort, I started working from 1978 onward under my uncle who was an advocate by qualification and a tax practitioner by profession. I was simultaneously also pursuing my studies for my commerce degree. In 1980 my younger brother Jagdish also started working for our family which gave us a much needed relief.
In 1979, apart from my studies and my job, I started an accounting assignment to supplement my family income further. In this endeavour, my cousin, who is elder to me by three and half years, helped me in getting my first ever client. This gave us much needed relief and the pressure started easing. Now, with every passing year, things were improving, family income was growing, though marginally, but it was moving upward. In 1980 my father stopped his loss-making business. In 1984 I graduated in commerce from the prestigious H.R. College of Commerce & Economics (Mumbai).Today, I am a full-fledged freelance accounting professional since last 45 years and I am handling mainly Individual’s accounts and Partnership firm accounts. Also, for around 17 years, from 1995 to around 2012 or so, I had the privilege of handling a Charitable Trust accounts and their finance.
These bygone 45 years have taught me tremendously. I have seen people rising from dust to great heights and I have also seen people falling from great heights to dust. How and why it happened with these people, whatever they faced in their lives, it’s certainly a matter of debate. There is a certain financial discipline to follow, and there are certain do’s and don’ts to follow. Those who follow them properly enjoy success and those who don’t suffer and fail in their lives.
In these 45 years I have met numerous people from all walks of life. I have observed them closely and seen how they succeeded in their lives, and I have also seen people failing in their lives. The difference between these two categories of people is their mindset, habits, financial discipline, understanding or not understanding the situation and their approach toward life. I have learnt tremendously from these people.
I sincerely want to help people in their financial goals so that they take right decisions at the right time after taking due diligence. This blog is a culmination of what I have seen, learnt, read, and experienced in my professional and social life.
